Global Family Medicine Pathway

Developing family physicians who have the skills and knowledge to care for global citizens

The Global Family Medicine Pathway is a longitudinal educational track with structured international experiences, allowing family medicine residents to:

  • Develop and refine expertise in clinical care
  • Evaluate own attitudes and perspectives
  • Gain experience with community health, especially in resource-poor settings
  • Pursue advocacy and research interests

Motivated residents earn a certificate in global family medicine at the end of their training.
