Education and training
We offer educational activities and training programs for medical students, residents, fellows, faculty, and community physicians.
We have eight family medicine residency programs—five in the Twin Cities and three in Greater Minnesota.
Our fellowship programs include hospice and palliative medicine, sports medicine, behavioral medicine, and human sexuality.
Medical student education
Our involvement in medical student education occurs across the Medical School's two campuses: Twin Cities and Duluth.
Topics relevant to family medicine are presented at Grand Rounds during the lunch hour almost every month.
A variety of hands-on courses in primary care topics are available for residents, medical students, physicians, and other health professionals.
Continuing medical education
We offer a couple of continuing medical education credit-bearing courses for family physicians.
